Selling A Home

Frequently the biggest obstacle that a seller needs to overcome when selling is this: how you live in a home and how you sell a home are not that same. The first thing that I like to explain to my clients is that when you’ve decided to put your house on the market, it requires work from all parties involved. A potential buyer is buying a house, not your home with you in it. So the pictures on the fridge of loved ones and the personal items that mean so much to the home owner may not be in the best interest for the purchaser to see. Often times, I will sit down with the sellers and give them a list of possible recommendations for staging that will add to the value of the home.
